Butterfly Hill Villa is located on a private hilltop property with over 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens, fruit trees, flowering shrubs and a spectacular view of the ocean and mountains. The Villa is considered by many to be a "home away from home" and the perfect place for an authentic Jamaican escape.
The Villa features 4 bedrooms on the main floor and a 5th bedroom (Studio Apt.) on the second level for groups of 6 or more guests. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, large closets, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, safe and screened windows.
The central living room/kitchen opens out to a large covered veranda with views of the beautiful pool, deck and Caribbean Sea! The rooftop patio has loungers, a hammock, and a new palapa, providing stunning 360 degree views of the ocean and Santa Cruz mountains. You have direct beach access just steps away at the end of our driveway.
Our staff include a private chef, housekeeper, caretaker, and private driver.

Newly Renovated
Jamaica Villa
In April 2018, the villa was purchased by new owners and renovated inside and out to pamper guests with all the comforts of home. In 2021 a new deck & 32x16 ft. Infinity pool with bar area was completed.
The villa was lovingly lavished with new beds, mattresses, plush linens, ceiling fans, and air conditioning installed in all bedrooms to maximize comfort. Also added new furniture, décor and replaced all appliances.

A Private Villa in Treasure Beach, Jamaica
Butterfly Hill is a whole-villa rental on Jamaica’s south coast — five bedrooms, sleeping up to ten, on two and a half private acres above Billy’s Bay. You take the entire house and grounds, and the staff come with it.
Treasure Beach is not the Jamaica of the north-coast resorts. There are no all-inclusives here, no cruise terminal and no one selling anything on the sand. It is a working fishing community of four quiet coves spread across six miles, and it is among the driest, sunniest corners of the island.

Rates run US$350 to US$1,100 per night depending on season and group size, with a three-night minimum. Food and drink are extra — budget roughly US$35–40 per person per day — and staff gratuity of around 15% is not included in the rate.
Who it suits
The villa works best for families, groups of six to twelve, honeymooners and celebrations. Split four or five ways it often costs less per person than separate hotel rooms, and you get a kitchen, a pool and staff who can arrange a boat to Pelican Bar.
It is a poor choice for two people on a tight budget — it is a lot of house for a couple — and it is not walkable to restaurants. If you want nightlife, shopping or powder-white sand, the north coast will serve you better, and we would rather say so now than have you arrive disappointed.
