Is it good enough to work from?
For most people, yes. Guests routinely take video calls, work full days and stream in the evening without trouble.
The honest caveat: this is rural Jamaica. Outages happen occasionally, usually brief and usually tied to a power cut rather than the connection itself. If you have something genuinely critical — a job interview, a client presentation — bring a mobile hotspot as a backup. Mobile coverage in Billy’s Bay is generally good.
Where to work
The rooftop palapa and the shaded terraces are the usual choices. All bedrooms have air conditioning if you would rather work inside during the hotter part of the day.
